This unit is perfect for a family getaway or a couple’s vacation!  The unit provides a great view of the beautiful beaches of Pointe West.
Directly on the Sunset Pool with the lazy river.  Relax on the large balcony with an unobstructed view of the West Bay and San Luis Pass the choice will be yours at “Sunset Bay.” This condominium is spacious and comfortable for a perfect weekend getaway or a relaxing week at the beach.  High speed WIFI and HD television is available for you to enjoy during your stay.
The large living room looks out towards the bay and has French doors that lead to a large balcony with plenty of seating for everyone.  The kitchen has full size appliances, dishes, cookware and everything you will need if you decide to cook any meals in during your stay at Pointe West. The master bedroom has a King size bed with a view of the water and access to the large balcony. It has a large private bath and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has two full-size beds and a full-size bath beside the entrance to the bedroom.  There is also a full-size stacked washer dryer to rinse all the sand off your clothes after a day at the beach for your use in this unit.
When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sunscreen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.

Pointe West is an exclusive community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside is heated and has a small lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay. In the summer months there is Smore’s by the Sunset Pool, kid’s crafts, Dive-in Movies and live entertainment. (We will send you the activity schedule upon booking your vacation or you can check the Pointe West Beach Club website for times/dates).

Golf carts, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors. Please ask us we have information on these items and other things you may want to rent when visiting Pointe West.

You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston (The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away so we recommend guests stop on their way in so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!

POINTE WEST PROPERTY OWNER ASSOCIATION(POA) CHARGES A $25 FEE PER GUEST OVER THE AGE OF FOUR YEARS OLD TO USE THE CLUB AMENTITIES DURING YOUR STAY IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THE FACILITIES.  You will need to wear these wristbands to enter the Beach Club, Sunset Pool, fitness center, etc. and all the amenities on the property during your stay at Pointe West. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO USE THE BEAUTIFUL BEACHES AT POINTE WEST.  If you do not plan on using the facilities at Pointe West, you do not need to purchase the wristbands, if you want to dine in the restaurant or shop in the gift shop, temporary bands for admittance to those businesses are available.  GVR
